MULTI-BOX cable entry flanges MBFL are designed to provide an easy entry of cables, wires and tubes into enclosures, switchgear cabinets and machines. They are manufactured from Polyamide in light grey colour RAL 7035.
The use of MULTI-BOX MBFL flanges are a good, fast and simple alternative to the use of regular cable glands when installing individual cables. Through the ease of assembly of the MULTI-BOX MBFL flanges, the potential to save costs and time with the easy and fast installation of a variety of cables, tubes, electrical or pneumatic connections, is substantial.
MBFL cable entry flanges are designed to be mounted in the regular openings for 24-pin Industrial connectors (e.g. Harting HAN 24B). For enclosure wall thickness's between 1,5 and 2,0 mm the flanges can easily be snapped into the existing cut-outs without the use of any tools or further fixings. Wall thickness's beyond 2,0 mm require an additional fixing of the flange with screws that can be ordered as an accessory.
Due to a foamed Polyurethane sealing in combination with a double membrane elastomer gasket the flange provides an ingress protection of IP 65. It guarantees an effective protection against water, dust or dirt within a temperature range of -30 up to +90 °C. Furthermore the internal gasket membrane secures an effective strain relief for all cables and connections.

Presently MULTI-BOX MBFL entry flanges are available in three different versions that differ by the number and the diameter of the cable entries provided. Additionally MULTI-BOX also provide a closed version of the flange to secure optional openings, which can later be replaced by regular flanges.
